This has been a issue with the NFL in the past. Should he have been riding?

he lost all his teeth, broke his jaw, totaled his knees, and messed up the back of the head. Maybe he will learn he is not invincible.

well to tell u the truth, it is the teams business, they invest millions upon millions of dollars on these athletes, and they dont want to loose there players from something stupid like not wearing a helmet. Ben stands to loose some money if he does not play some games this season. When he signed his contract, there is a clause in the contract about if a player gets hurt not playing football, the team does not have to pay them there full salary.

He was lectured by Cowher and by Bradshaw. I believe it is the team's business when they lay down a butt load of money to keep you healthy. Many contracts, BTW, specify what sporting activities are not allowed. You violate the contract, you pay the price. Whether or not Big Ben had such a clause is unclear. But Bradshaw was right when he told Ben, "you can ride when you retire."

I think it is a personal choice. Along with the helmet. I do not ride with out one but I have had a wreck and the helmet saved me some serious problems. I still ride and No one should tell a person what they can do that is his job not his life.
