Why do people ask such long friggin' questions on here?

I'm talking about the questions that take up a whole page. Short sweet and to the point

The ring tone is a spin-off of technology that was originally meant to repel teenagers -- not help them. A Welsh security company developed the tone to help shopkeepers disperse young people loitering in front of their stores while leaving adults unaffected. The company called their product the "Mosquito."
Donna Lewis, a teacher in Manhattan, says her colleague played the ring for a classroom of first-graders -- and all of them could hear it, while the adults couldn't hear anything. People have a right to ask any question they want, no matter how long. What I object to is the page after page of answers some people enter instead of giving a web site. Plus, they are most often copied material with no credit given to the source. I don't need to mention names. You all know the people I am talking about. They run on and on forever, as though their answers were original and from them!! Boring!!

Sorry your attention span it 2 seconds long and/or you are lazy. Some things take longer to ask or to answer than a sound bite or a sentence. The reason why we are all so hostile towrds each other today more than ever is nobody takes the time to talk and explain or to read through so they go off half-****** with half the information.

Because it is better to give too much information than not enough. They want a detailed answer and the question may be long because the answer needs to be specific.
