I have a Masters degree. Doing a graduate degree is a maturing experience, much different from doing an undergraduate degree. No one can ever take it away from you and a masters is very well respected in the world of work. It says you could take the pressure, no matter whether the degree is in business or science or education.

I remember my first graduate seminar class. There were just four of us in the course. The professor sat at the end of the table and handed us all index cards and we had to write on the cards several questions we would like to know the answers to by the end of the course. So as new grad students we all wanted to impress and to write really good questions, so we all struggled thoughtfully for several minutes. The professor collected the cards and made some "Ah's" and "Ummmm's" as he read the questions. then he looked at us, put the cards in his pocket, and said, "Now, go and find out."

That is what a masters is about - figuring out what you need to know, and then seeking it out.

So, yes, it is an awesome experience, I would do it again, it meant I made many thousands more dollars each year after I had it, and it was extremely useful as a process, an accomplishment, as a help in my career, and as something on my resume.

Go for it!

In the new job market, a BA or BS is almost the same as not even having a college degree. It really doesn't mean too much anymore. My Masters was totally necessary in my getting a job with good pay and benefits. I believe that most people need graduate school education in order to excel. There are exceptions, though, but they're rare.

Of course I would.
It would help you get a better job and earn more money then you are already making.
The downside is that it takes a lot of schooling but in the end I think it is totally worth it.
My Mother has one a Masters Degree in Nursing, because now she's a Nurse Practioner with prescriptive authority and can open her own buisness. I would say it is very useful her and me because now she has many people wanting to hire her and for me she can do my school pyshicals for sports and write notes for me for school for keeping my inhaler with me. She can also give me the allergy shots that I need.

Yes, I am in college right now to obtain my bachelors degree. I would like to go after a Masters degree, but I do not like school all that much and could not see myself being in college longer than I have to.
