My biggest muse would actually have to be music. Whatever music I listen to, my art conforms to it. As in, I was listening to Dimmu Borgir, a black metal band, and my art showed a very harsh and brutal look. Listening to the Edward Scissorhands Soundtrack, it had a calm feeling. Point blank. Music.

My biggest muse is beauty in nature. Calm, isolated, natural beauty. I do not know if that is a correct answer to your question or not though.

Probably Sir Anthony Van Dyck. But only so far as painting goes. Nobody seems to have been that good all around. Not machine like precision but really beautiful to look at, those images.
In all else? I think it's the art spirit within us and the sum total of what we've learned.

Is it selfish or conceited to say that I look inward for my muse? I find that most often, I am my own muse, my own inspiration. I only have to look deep inside myself to find it. There is so much to discover.

Charles Schulz. I have always wanted to be a cartoonist, and the way he wrote and drew Peanuts for 50 years all by himself just inspires me.
