MEN BEHIND THE SUN

It's about horrific experiments the Japanese performed on the Chinese during WWII. The worst scene is where these doctors kill and dissect an 11 year old boy...it looks almost real.
The rest of the movie would gross out the average viewer, but the disection scene was very realistic and sad. They murdered the only charachter in the movie you felt sympathy for.

Clockwork Orange is a great choice. The book was much more violent though.

BUT I think silence of the lambs with that skin suit and the big diamond shaped cuts on the body bloated form the river was the most disgusting. The half finger in the well where someone was trying to claw out and it broke off. Plus, Buffalo Bill putting on the skin suit and "tucking" to look like a woman was NASTY too. ewwwwww. It was graphic and what made it worst is that it was based in true events.. EWWWWWW

The NR rated Dawn Of The Dead back in the late 70's.

For you Clockwork Orange fans - Calugia (co-produced by Penthouse) starring Malcolm McDowell - basically the story about the fall of the Roman Empire with a bunch or orgies thrown in.

I Spit On Your Grave - Woman teacher goes to the South, gets raped by three men and then gets revenge -

cannibal holocaust - was banned just about everywhere except japan for a long time. When it was released, the director/producer were charged with making a snuff film in Italy and had to produce the cast to prove they were still alive. It contains some of the most horrific scenes imaginable, plus real torture and killing of animals (this being the reason for it being banned). It is not for the squeamish. Just released on DVD in the US this past year. Check it out, if you dare.

Ichi the killer is probably the most graphic violent movie I have ever seen, it seemed as if some scenes in the movie was just in there to shock the viewer.
