I don't understand any part of this except that you quit your job at the liquor store?
Crazy. And perhaps you shouldn't be laughing because you're the one without a job and a "few dollars left out in my pocket" now. Why would you quit a job like that anyway? It's not like it's that difficult.

Always remember, nobody is indespensable. And that includes you. Try to aim a bit higher. Look for a job that offers you the opportunity to advance in position and pay.
Yes, he will suffer for about a day until some youngster looking for a job walks right in a takes over your position. If it were a position that requires much technical expertise, he would suffer. I say he won't suffer a bit. No offense to you.

EVEN though you didnt ask a question I will tell you it is a bad idea to burn bridges even for a crummy job. What if you go for a new job and they ask you for a reference or something like that. You never know how that guy might cross your path in the future so it is better if you stayed on good terms with him instead of making an enemy of him right?

If it was terrible, let that sucker burn. I've quit on site in front of customers before. 2 minutes before I had to work at that :p

Ah yes, let him suffer. Wouldn't that "make your day"? "Make your week"? Look in the mirror and you will see that you cut off your nose to spite your face.
When your new prospective employer asks for references, just tell him/her - WHAT??

Are you trying to tell us you quit your job, or what. I don't see a question in this statement of yours.

I'm sure if that is your attitude, they will be better off without you there! Grow up and take some responsibility for yourself!

Usually, former employers don't really miss their employees. In the grand scope of things, none of us are really that important.
But, if you're happy, I'm happy for you!
