Let's be honest in the group they are in no one scored a goal except for one player and that was in the wrong net, however UK came out shining as per usual, based on that kind of luck maybe they will make it to the next round, but on what we have seen so far in the skills department I don't think they will survive long.
To be fair to them with all the injuries they are not able to represent themselves to their full capabilities whether that would have been good enough or not I am not sure, I wouldn't feel too confident on what I have seen so far, and at this stage I would need a lot more convincing before I put a wager on them.
In any case they are there and still in it, and they are one of 32 teams who are providing a lot of entertainment for us all, while the politicians sneak through a few white papers while our attention is on the cup.
What a pity the world is so sneaky.

Pete V ... excuses excuses, the heat, admit it England are useless, they are supposed to be world class athletes. Do you see ordinary men working on the roads in summer in the heat for 8 hrs a day, yes you do. Whenever England lose , it then becomes blame culture, England are the Manchester united of the world cup.
England have no chance whatsoever!

A lot better than their 1st game might suggest. They aren't used to that kind of heat, and the referee gave every call to Paraguay. True the play was average at best but they are a very strong team & have the potential to carry it off!
