Local sewing machine shops might have a good used one that they have taken on trade and refurbished...would be a good way to get more machine for the dollar...don't know about the $70.00 though...good luck with that part.

Why, you can get those easily. Try finding local sewing shops or looking on line for using sewing machines. I think even stores like Sears or Target have sewing machines now, but somehow I doubt that they're under $70...

Salvation Army. Really, they don't just sell crappy out dated things.

Or try going to tag sales, estate sales.. ect..
