Yes. One of the first signs of pregnancy I had was EXTREME tenderness and swelling of my breasts. That is a telltale sign although can be deceiving because it can be a sign of PMS. But, after expiriencing both, believe me, there is a difference!

Firstly I am not a doctor so do not trust everything I say.

You could be pregnant but it is not certain. If you do not have a stable cycle you may get your period soon. A good indication for that is if you feel uneasy when you touch them. In this case it is more possible that you are going to have your period but again this is not certain. Another test that you can do is to squeeze your nipples. If you see fluid coming out then you are not pregnant but you should visit a doctor asap.

The best thing to do is to have a pregnancy test. If the test comes negative then I suggest you visit a doctor. Breasts are very sensitive in variations in a number of hormones which can affect your general health. Check your cycle. If you also feel dizzy or some times sick again it is not certain that you are pregnant. The general rule is that these are the symptoms for pregnancy but they are indications for a hormonal disorder.

Well, I don't know about the week part but for me my boobs got huge and HURT,,,really bad. That was the very first symptom on both my pregnancies. they tingled too. I found out I was pregnant once when i was only 4 or 5 weeks but my boobs had tingled and hurt for 3 weeks before i found out. Alot of home test will tell you when you're just a few weeks,,,give one a try, see what it says.

The glands do not begin to make more milk until about the sixth month of pregnancy in preparation for breast feeding. If you don't know that you are pregnant - and you would by the sixth month - then breast swelling is probably a sign of something else. See your doctor.

It could be that you are getting your period soon. Sometimes the breasts swell and get tender right before menstruation. If you think you could be pregnant, you should take a pregnancy test!

The size of your breasts is only one part of pregnancy. The best way to tell is to take a pregnancy test, or visit your family doctor.
