Why do people ask Mythological/Folklore questions if they want a logical answer?

And why do people answer these questions with boring logical answers?

Because the answer to the questions, and usually the point of having a question in the first place, is logic. Anybody can create an illogical answer; they do it for even the simplest questions. The true challenge, is to make logic out of something most deem to be false or fairytale.

Whether the questions are logical or the subject is subjective. Some say the Christian god doesn't exist so anything to do with that is huey. Strange, but the Christians don't feel that way. Then they will say that all the other gods and goddesses are just bull or the work of the devil, and a bunch of us beg to differ. There are religious babies, pagan babie, newage babies, science babies, etc. People need to start giving creedance to more than they understand; open the mind. Anyone that doesn't hold your beliefs is going to consider your stuff mythology and folklore.

Ask a logical question, get a logical answer. Most people are looking for a logical answer. If the question is truly silly, however, I do oblige them with an equally silly and imaginative answer.

One can speak logically about a nonrational topic. Otherwise, the disciplines of comparative religion, literary history, and abnormal psychology would be hard to pursue.

Everyone has their own personal and creative or simple idea about a certain thing.
They might be bored perhaps and want to answer a question.
