does anybody know why the little kids walk out with the players before the game?I want to know becaues my sister keeps asking me.

You can read about them in the fun and games section on the fifaworld.yahoo.com site. It's called player escorts and it's sponsored by McDonalds. The kids are from all over the world and they had to enter a contest by doing drawings or stories and were picked according to their entries.

think they're german kids who have been chosen from schools around the town where each stadium is...to represent the host nation, and to show that football involves people of all ages...that's my opinion!
