I love Harry Potter movie so much! if my birthday reach on the October 26 this year,can anyone give me a present of Harry Potter story books?haha,kidding! How about you?You like harry potter or the lord of the ring?

Harry Potter suckS!!!!!! the movies[and books] are all crap. the author got the idea from some other dude anyway. And didnt you hear the stories about the little kids taking brooms and jumping off buildings thinking they could fly??Its murder i tell ya!And besides its like sacraligous because witchcraft is a religion. All the harry potter movies and books are giving out the wrong message to kids[GO LORD OF THE RINGS!!!!!!!]

It depends on what you're going for :D
but I have an inclination towards LOTR. x)
The Harry Potter movies are going a little downhill.
Somehow Lord of the Rings has this very lasting impact, and leads me to think about issues more than Harry Potter does. For the humour, I like the HP films, but for films which touch something within me, LOTR outlasts HP.
Doesn't media always pound this question into our heads? xD

i love harry potter, i have the 6 parts of the novel & i have the 4 movie parts on dvd.but i didn't like lord of the rings that much

Definitely LOTR but that is only because i haven't read the books I am sure that if I read them I wouldn't like those movies as much... I love Harry Potter books but i honestly can't stand the movies. If you read Harry Potter like i do then you pay very close attention to the little things so you notice when they get left out of the movies but some times big things get left out too (like Hagrid's Half-Giant confession in the four book). Also when you read something you picture things like the characters, places, etc. in your mind and I have yet to find a movie that was based on a book that matched the things I see in my mind. for example, Remus, Sirius, and James all looked way different than i imagined. I pictured Remus and Sirius to be ruggedly handsome while i pictured James to be very handsome and clean cut not at all how they were in the movies. when thinking of Sirius (pre-movie) i thought of like johnny Depp in POTC or something like that movies just don't seem to live up to expectation which ruins the movies for me.

I personally like harry potter better because i am a kid Lord of the rings are for kids and adults but most likely to entertain adults so if Ur a kid watch harry potter if adult watch lord of the rings, does anyone ahree with me?
