Tim Duncan

He is one of the most steady players in the league. He always plays solid defense. He is a guy to give the ball to in the clutch. He is just so fundamental in every facet of his game except for freethrow shooting.

But the thing that seals the deal for him being the #7 player is that he has three championship rings and he was the star on the Spurs for those three wins so you pretty much have to go with him here. I am shocked that he wasn't higher... but I guess he is getting a little old just like Shaq. Shaq would be my 8th choice eventhough he has been terrible in these NBA finals.

Who will the Washington Wizards take with the 18th pick of the Unofficial Yahoo Answers NBA Mock Draft?

WOW AT BILLUPS NOT EBING IN THE TOP 7!! JJ ur probably gonna pick Tim Duncan cause most ppl said that, but he wasnt even profiled in NBA.com's MVP candidates, and wasnt close in the MVP polls. If ur a true nba fan, and know ur basketball u have to go with billups as #7.

CHAUNCEY BILLUPS is the 7th beast player in the NBA for sure. What makes him the 7th best is that he knows how to win. He doesn't have to score 40 points/night, but he can if necessary. If another player is hot, he'll rack up the assists, because he's not going to take points away from his teamates just to "get his". He's had the most consistent season, and he has led his team to the league's best record.

Led the league in assists per turnover (4.11), ranked fourth in assists per game (8.6) and fifth in three pointers made (184), averaged career highs in both points (18.5) and assists, set a career high for both three point percentage (.433) and three pointers made. The leader of a Detroit Pistons team which recorded the best record in the NBA at 64-18.

and why he isnt in the top 5, when he finished ahead of wade in the mvp voting is a surpirse to me...

are you seriouse shaq owns everyone on that list what are u thinking

At least put him in now but seriously shaq OWNS everyone on that list except Lebron ill agree with that. But if lebron were a center..... I think Shaq can defend lebron if they played the same position.

By the way i read the answers for when u did the best player and Lebron is def. going to orlando with Darko in the summer of 07' cause thats when his contract ends Orlando is getting rid of Grant hill and will have the largest salary cap and if toronto matches their price im sure Lebron would rather pick Orlando. Then they'll beast on everyone (i mean howard darko and lebron thats game over)

Kevin Garnett. Sure he has struggled through this year, but look at what he has done ove the past few seasons. He had a slump this year, and I think he deserves to be on a better team and make it to the playoff and show his true potential

I would put Tim Duncan there, but you also have Kevin Garnett, Vince Carter, and Tracy McGrady.
