Growing up when girls would talk about getting married or having children I was always against it.I thought I would feel differently once I grew up and had a serious relationship but I still feel the same.

I'm 24 and I always felt the same way.. and still do.. but lately I've started to warm up to the idea.. keep in mind half of my friends are already married and some have kids.. some girls want these things from very young age, but I think people who want more out of life than ordinary stuff take more time to feel ready.. Just remember don't feel you have to be like everyone else, be yourself and follow your heart.

I am 26 and still have no desire to marry or have children. I consider myself childfree. If you're serious about never having kids, I would recommend finding a group of like-minded people in your area because you'll want their support as people begin to pressure you to conform. You can also check out childfree groups online at livejournal.

You aren't normal; you are better than normal because you are choosing you're own path instead of playing society-says and doing what all the sheep and drones do with their lives. BE PROUD OF YOUR CHOICES!

It happens...I've known of age gaps larger than that, although a large age gap does have its own set of challenges... It's not "gross" at all, they are both adults...but I'd question their reasons/motives because they are probably not in the same place in Life... My best girlfriend married a guy in December who is 15 yrs her senior...but then she just turned 40, so the situation isn't quite the same...

It's normal FOR YOU. DON'T DO THIS before you are ready. And at 23, very few are ready. Here's a scary fact -- while we all know that about 50% of marriages end in divorce, did you know that the number skyrockets to above 75% when just ONE of the partners is under 25? Trust your instincts here.

It's perfectly normal. Some people in life aren't the marrying type or want children.

This is normal. You may not be ready for it, you may not want it, it is a choice you make. If and when you feel you WANT to do it, then do it, otherwise live your life the way YOU want it lived. No one has control over you. Continue to make up YOUR own mind about things and you will be happy!

Don't be in a hurry, when the right person comes into your life then you will know when you are ready. Until then enjoy your freedom and experience more life so when the time does come, there will be no question about your readiness. GBU and Good Luck!

No it's not normal, your wierd!!.................
Just kidding! It's very normal. A lot of people men and women have no desire to get married or have kids. A lot of it has to do with losing that freedom of being single. I wouldn't worry about it. Just make sure you're happy. That's all that matters.
