And why is that not what we want, and instead prefer to give a trillion dollar a year to weapons manufacturers to arm us?
I mean Cuba also needs to stay armed out of fear of America

It's not communism, Canada has free health care as well. As I recall the Clintons tried to bring it into the States and it was voted down. We all pay enough taxes that healthcare should be free.

life expectancy Cuba 77.41 years
per capita GDP Cuba $3,500

life expectancy US 77.85 years
per capita GDP US $41,800
U.S. Military Spending $518.1 billion (FY04 est.) (2005 est.)

Obviously the healthcare isn't free since our per capita GDP is about 12 times that of Cuba. Our life expectancy is statiscally tied with that of Cubans proof our healthcare system works just as good or better than theirs. Also your figure of 1 trillion dollars a year is nearly double the actual amount spent. Ever wonder why Cubans risk their lives on rafts to get to the US and it isn't the other way around. Socialism just doesn't work. Source U.N. data and CIA worldfactbook.

Because Cuba is an underserved country and they don't have all the oppurtunities we have to make money and live a good life. We are very fortunate that we get to live in such a great country and have so many oppurtunities to suceed in our lifetime.
I mean, sheesh, get a job so you can have health insurance and dental insurance. You really don't know how good you have it.

I am sure their health care in very inferior to ours, and their doctors get paid very little, I'll bet many people die because of their poor health care. Just because it's free doesn't mean it's good
