Read your divorce decree or custody documents. There should be a clause in there that pertains to where the child is to reside.

when u go 2 register ur new address they will tell u. I believe u must go back to court with ur NJ custody papers

depends what the divorce decree states. it's usually the distance you are allowed to move. A different state should not matter.
