Right now the computer is locked up, it's busy doing something else at the present moment and I'm pretty sure that it would be a bad idea to interupt it right now. I hear that if I do that the hard drive gets fried. How long will take to unlock. BTW, I've got no idea what it's doing right now.

instal qtpartision magic

right click on the drive shown on the top which you want to be smaller

then give more space to the partision you wanna have more space

note:
your partisions must be close to eachother

when you resize a partition, it moves the data around, and then has to change the partitions, not sure about your probram, but all of them work the same way.
If you have a large disk, it could take an hour or more, it sounds like it is just doing its work
