I am having all the signs of getting my period, but I still haven't gotten it. I am now a week late. Can I be pregnant?

I should have added that I already have three children and this has never happened when I was pregnant with any of them. I know I need to get a pregnancy test, the situation is just confusing me now.

Yes you could be pregnant, hate to burst your bubble. I had my period the first 2 months of pregnancy with my daughter and had signs of a period for about 2 months after that. I would say that is a sign that something is wrong so either way you need to see a doctor, soon!

I can't really give you an exact answer but go to Walgreens or a pharmacy and buy one of those home pregnancy tests.
If it comes up positive then of course your pregnant.
If it's negative I would go see your docter.
You could be just late though, sometimes if you've been off and on the pill (birth control) your period and get messed up I heard.
Either way, if you are or aren't pregnant I would make an appointment with your docter.

Take a pregnancy test. I really do not understand why you would ask this question? I mean common sense will is that you might be pregnant, you probably had unprotected sex and your period is late, so then??? First take a pregnancy test and see your results and then ask why am I not pregnant if my period is a week late? That would make more sense! Don't you think????

well maybe. i am not pregnant and i have not had a period in 3 months. were u on birth control before, i got off in April and now my hormones are all messed up. and it could just be a little late. get a pregnancy test to know for sure

You could but I wouldn't get to worked up about it yet, you need to think of when you have had sex. I would wait a week or two to get a pregnancy test. Your period might just be delayed.

That has happened to me. With my first child I kept on feeling like I was going to start but I never did. I took a test and I was pregnant.

You are prob. not pregnant! If you feel like you are going to get it and you dont then you are prob. just stressing yourself out! Just relax and wait a few days. Or you could just go get a test and find out. Whatever chills you out.
