There you go again! Bring the fly swatter! Go back to your trailer park, would you?
It is sad to see people actually take the time to give you a serious answer. Try a comedy club owned by Carlos Mencia. He would kick your insect butt!!!

It's pure laziness, I fear. Neither teachers nor parents have "gone wrong." If they've made an error, then it has more to do with misplaced compassion than any real wrongdoing. Grammar is hard. It's boring. And today's students have been saturated in easy, quick-fixing attitudes poured down their throats like so much NyQuil. In an information-obsessed era where the quickness of retreiving information is more important than its quality, we are witnessing an cultural shrug toward "nitpicky" grammar, punctuation, and mechanics in favor of rapid responses, terse email communication, and vowel-less words that merely get the point across without grace and tact. I don't think it's a matter of people getting dumber. They're just getting more lax in their communication skills, especially written communications.
So, teachers and parents can but present the information. It's up to the student to take the initiative to learn it.

First, I love your play on the subject....very witty. But really, I've wondered the same thing. I'm a high school art teacher- my students have to demonstrate writing skills in my class when they complete their art analysis essays. I was SHOCKED by the overwhelming grammar errors. I noticed they weren't always spelling difficult words incorrectly....many times, they were making big mistakes out of very simple language! I feel sorry for those high school English teachers....if I had to sit there and grade that mediocrity for hours--I'd go crazy!
Personally, I think there is a break down in the home. It's one thing that a student sits in class every day and listens to the teacher about education.....it's another (and more important) thing to have their education reinforced at home on a daily basis as well.

Not all of us are like that. I think my parents and teachers did a fine job of raising me. :-)
And it's grammar, not grammer.

i dont think grammar is taught early enough in school. the teachers in higher grades expect students to know certain basic rules that younger grade teachers never drilled into them. laziness is also a key part of it. most of us just dont care if we have good grammar, so we dont

our grammer is bad because all of these slangs and other ways of talking are taking over.

you're being facetious by misusing the word "bad" instead of "poor" and misspelling "grammar", right?
