you need to purchase a benadryl cream with 2% hydrocortisone. this will work. but it has to be the 2% because it's the stronger formula that actually works. other than that...spray on some bug repellant, or use the creams before you go out. i know it's annoying having bites, so it'll be worth it using any and all precautions necessary to ward them off.

Um, don't make an "x" with your nail! Clean it off with soap and water and use a hyrocortisone anti itch cream. Something with lydocaine in it will work nicely too. It numbs the area and you stop scratching if only for a while.

i totally understand what yer goin thru! Believe i have the same problem i just hate their constant buzzing around for blood... gee, i CAN't STAND THEM! But i've got a home remedy for you.. that's some ROMAN SCENTED CANDLES. Buy as many of them as you can and place em all over yer house or the place your stayin' wherever you need.. and lite em all up til they're competely consumed. THAT WORKS GREAT ! believe me

I use rubbing alcohol to ease the itchness. But I do not know how to prevent bites because I do not like reeking of bug spray.

Calamine (spelling?) works very well for me. Takes the itch out immediately.

If that doesn't work, try biting the mosquitos before they bite you.

If you were bitten, cut an onion in half and place one half on the bite. It helps to relieve the itching and swelling.

after one of my holidays i came back covered in them, i went to the docs to see what i could do and all the told me was 2 take paracetomol for the pain and put cammomile lotion on them, its the orange cream that you use when you have chicken poxs. this worked for me, obviously you still itch but not as bad. when you itch in bed use a damp cloth to sooth the pain, but don't itch them, they scar believe me!!!

i put some of that triple anti-biotic ointment (like neosporin) on it and forget about it. it itches for a minute but just put it out of your head - it will be virtually gone by the following day.
