I am a red head and I have very light freckled skin. This makes it very hard for me to find a foundation. (Most foundations end up looking orange on my skin.) If any of you have suggestions please give them.

Try Everyday Minerals at everydayminerals.com. They have a great variety of foundations in fair shades. As a bonus, the company sends samples for free and you just pay for the cost of shipping, which is $5.

Go to a department store so that you can try various types of foundation before you purchase them. Apply it and then walk outside and to more lit sections of the store or mall.

Nordstrom typically has a liberal return policy, so if a few days later the color is terrible, you can return it. Spending the money for a department store brand will keep you from throwing your money away on drugstore brands that you can't test.

Covergirl has a nice lite shade....like buff beige...or lighter shades if you need it. Redheads are very fair-skinned..the trick to having it go on light...as well as smooth>>>>>>first apply "St Ives" Vitamin E lotion to your face...immediately apply the foundation...it just glides on...and lightly. You don't want to apply any foundation without a moisterizer on your face first. Good luck! Covergirl "clean makeup" is the one you want to choose. And it's reasonable...you can get it at your local Walmart.
