The best business will depend on what you want, how you define to be interesting. A person may consider a pet sitting business to be the most exciting work in the world, while you would rather watch TV than take care of dogs. Or someone may say cleaning, but if you don't want to clean your house then cleaning other people's houses will be even tougher
The key is to determine what your interests are, what you want to do, what is suitable for your lifestyle and your overall goals, and what can fit with your resources.
Dan Ramsey in his book "101 Best Home Businesses" has a chapter on how to find YOUR best home business. He suggests these 10 steps:
1. List 5 things you do best
2. List how others would benefit from what you do best
3. Find out how to give people what they want
4. Learn the value of your services to others
5. Find out who else offers similar services
6. Learn from the successes of others
7. Learn from the failures of others
8. Plan your own success
9. Make low cost mistakes
10. Enjoy what you do and how you do it
He then made suggestions on the best home businesses according to type. Here are a few of them:
Best Businesses Using Craft or Physical Skills

It's hard to say really, because every job big or small requires brains and some for one to be physically fit. Where do you fit? What can you do? Are you physically active?
You can also try and buy some magazines that really explain a few things on what small business to do than my spending the whole night and suggesting all sorts to you without any clue of what you are capable of doing with your brains or hands.
Good luck. If you are in SA try the SA guide book to business opportunities, it's a really good magazine

It works 24/ 7 and you can earn profit for each automatic sale, sitting in your home, enjoying life with family and friends or on vacation. . This system allows you to earn $3000 everyday. THIS IS NOT MLM

I started M2C Global, online for less than $300. It was FREE to join, but I wanted some samples to hand out. So, I bought 300 pouches of their energy drink, A.C.T. Everyone I have given a sample to has joined as a dealer. Again - it's free to join and you get an AWESOME website.
I earned a check my first day, and was receiving 3-4 checks a week, in less than 60 days. Smallest checks are $50 and my largest has been $250. I have received as many as 3 checks in one day!
More than 1,000 people a day are joining M2C Global.

a cheap business to start would be insurance backup . people are doing it in the dangerous weather places . all you need is a computer , scanner/ printer , and camera . you would go to peoples houses and copy all their receipts , label all there serial numbers for electronics , take pictures of their home and roof . organize all this in one organized file and give it to them so they can give to insurance company . a lot of people in the florida , luisiana area are getting screwed on insurance claims and this will help them . you can charge like $50 an hour or something close to that

many things to consider first.....what experience do you have in in product sales? what are your qualifications, your education? who do you know that can hire you or help you get started? how much money can you put up to get started? what kind of competition will you have from others trying to do the same thing? what kind of market is out there for your product?...answer these things first then look for the most logical product to sale.....
