Yes, the USA can score in the World Cup. They have plenty of strikers and midfielders capable of it and who have done so in international play and in clubs across the globe during league games. At the forefront of US' scorers are Brian McBride, John O'Brien, and Eddie Johnson. These are key players who could score in the game against Ghana at least. I do not know if the US could make anything on goal even against Italy, but they do have a shot against Ghana even if they do not necessarily win against the African team.

probably 2 or 3 goals..until america's best pure male athletes focus on soccer as youths and continue with into adulthood , team USA will always be very bad....believe me we have much bigger stronger faster athletes in our country, who as young kids, for whatever reason, chhose to focus on other sports ahead of soccer.....my dad never played his dad never played etc....it is really that simple...

Yes they can. But not against Italy. They will score a goal against Ghana. I am not sure they will win a point though.

maybe when they play ghana thats the only chance they will have to score, because they will not have any chance agains Italy, they are going to get kill in the game hopefullt not to bad

usa has a very good team however i have yet to see them play that against other teams. a lot has to do with the support it gets from home country
