Hehe, yes, I did know that. That's a great song. But it is spelled Good Riddance, not Riddence. Anyway, way to get the information out to all of those who don't know this!

I know that, it even says it on the album sleeve, under "songs" it's a simple mistake. No where in the song does it say "Good Riddance" so non-die-hards would not know the difference. Just like the song a from Dave Matthews Band; the chorus is "Hani Hani, come and dance with me...." people call the song "Hani Hani" when it's actually called #36, no where in the song is #36 mention. Give em' break:)

It doesn't matter. If you call it Good Riddance, a lot of people don't know what you're talking about it. It's not like it's a bad thing to call it Time of your Life, because not everyone who likes the song is a huge Green Day fan, they just like to hear it on the radio.

Um yeah I knew that. I have some of their cds and that song was our class graduation song.

Hey, did you know you spelled "riddance" wrong? Not trying to sound bitchy, but it really pisses me off when people spell simple words wrong. It's spelled "-ance" not "-ence". Get it right.

I'm sure you understand.

Why does it frustrate you so much?....are you directly related to the band and its offensive?.....cant you find anything better to do with your life than to get pissed off at people for calling a song by the wrong name....how pathetic it is that it makes you sooooo mad.....makes me laugh.

When I saw your question initially, I thought it's "Good riddance (time of your life)". I think more people remember the lyric "time of your life" and they instinctively think that's also the full title of the song.

that is one of my pet peeves too. when i graduated I had to try to convince so many people it was good riddence... and they still don't believe me, even when they look it up, they tell me they are two difference songs

It's subtitled Time of your life, which makes that technically part of the title.

actually, it's "Good Riddance." when you learn to spell, then you can get pissed off at people for calling it by the wrong title.
