Rhodes will most likely get the nod to start the season, but Addai has been rather solid in practice and workouts. Rhodes still has the experience needed in big game situations though, which gives Dominic the edge (no pun intended) over Addai.

Rhodes for now, until he proves that he can't be relied on to make the grade. Keep Addai, because I have a feeling he will eventually get the starting job.

They didnt draft Addai to be the long term backup. It is really too early to tell. Training camp will give a much better position, eventhough Rhodes will probably be the #1 coming in to camp because of his understanding of the playbook and system.
If you are looking at it from a fantasy football perspective, I wouldn't draft either of them at anything better then a #3 option at RB and probably not until the 6th or 7th rounds, at the earliest. Obviously, this all changes as the season "edges" closer.

Dominic Rhodes easily. Remember he filled in for Edge and put up decent numbers in 2001 as a rookie!

They will split time, but Dominic will be the starter come opening day!
