he kinda likes golf, has a '65 mustang convertable, reads hot rod magazines, we have a pool & spa which he cleans and i have no idea what to get him for fathers day

If your short on money make homemade gift certificates for free car wash ( yes this means you will have to do it) or vol. to clean out the garage ..If money is not an issue then buy car wash tokens and give to him. Take him to dinner - guys like steak n beer or beer n pizza..lol. Treat him to a ball game of his choice..home Depo or Sears gift card is good also.., A mag. subcribtion to hot rod or someother car mag-even if he is already gettin it pay for another 6 mo - yr.'s worth of mags.

A gift card from his favorite pro shop or the car wash, if he uses one for the Mustang. You could make an "IOU" card with so many offers to vacuum and skim the pool or spray off the pool deck (whatever maintenance you and he would be comfortable with you doing), If you cook, make him breakfast on Father's Day with all his favorites and serve it on the deck if it's a nice day. Give him a donated gift to an organization the the Nature Conservancy. They secure and maintain natural areas around the world. You can get him a membership or buy him an acre of land in brazil to save a rainforest. Awesome gift as he sounds like an outdoors person.

why don't u take him out to eat or the two of u can do something together to show him how much u love him. u could write a poem and get a nice frame to put it in or take some portraits of urself or with ur siblings if u have any and a card.sometimes its simple things that go a long way

here are some suggestions, men like tools, tickets to games doesn't matter the sport, since he has a car, why not get him one of those high pressure car washer that they advertise on tv. which would make washing his convertible alot more easier and funner.
