Yes, but it takes time, patience, and understanding. I would suggest a marriage counselor. It happened to my parents and they are just fine now.

Yes, I believe it can, but it will take a lot of work and dedication to the marriage. People make mistakes and deserve forgiveness. I don't believe a marriage should be ended after an affair "if" the marriage is still strong and you can forgive him. If you can't forgive him and you know in your heart that you can't, then it's over. It will always haunt the marriage. But if you can talk about it, openly and honestly and deal with it, then your on the road to recovery. Professional counseling is a plus. Affairs happen all the time, people do stupid things in the moment. I believe in forgiveness. Not too many people do now days. They think once a cheater always a cheater. I think if you get your feelings out openly so that you can understand why he had the affair then that is the first step. The ball is in your court, depends on how good you are at forgiving.

It can work out, but it requires a lot of commitment and hard work for you to learn to trust him again. Seek help with that.

yes it can work with a lot of hard work from both of you. him being completely open and honest with you about his where abouts etc. and you not bringing up the past all the time...

he will get a better picture of you,put him in his place,start doing things you've always want to do more than likely he was demanding.you don't have to do it alone(no you will never forget)
