God is a force. It does not have a gender. It can't and be only one God. And anybody who tells you different is full of Shi... er, excrement.

Well, some people believe God doesn't exist- but they are in for a surprise.
God does exist. But he isn't a man, nor a woman. These parameters do not apply to God- God is an immortal spirit...he may resemble the Sun, in his physical appearance.
God exists, whether people like it, or not.
It doesn't matter, anyways, if God is a 'man' or a 'woman'- he/she is the creator of the universe, and is sovereign. I love God, and I don't care at all what he looks like.

I'm sorry Duckie, you're saying that God is a man! In fact, it can't have any gender, because if it had, it would be imperfect, and God can't be imperfect. So, that's impossible. We, human beings, attribuite that property to God to THINK it. That's ours limitation. It's not the case that it is.
If we amploy "he" to refer to it, it's for linguistics limitation, patriachal culture, not because some one found a way to check God's sexuality-gender.
Man and woman are human creations. The idea of "man", as well as woman's, is historically constructed. To be a man today differs from to be a man in 2000 years ago. Tobe a man in the United States differs from what it is in Trinidad and Tobago or in the Indian communities around the world.
Ah, I ain't speaking on the material stuff.

Interesting !
I see it this way : God is the Word, according to John 1, or , God is a spirit John 4 v 24.
Therefore the Word enters our minds which is the earth , and the female.(read the explanation after the parrable of the sower )
The seed is male, ( hence He ) and the earth is female (mother earth).
I think God is not a man as such, but a spirit, or a power, a force ? Hope you can see this ?

it was most likely a man who said that god is a man, a couple of thousand years ago no man was ever going to admit that a woman could be all powerful or all encompassing. God forbid!!

The belief that "God" (if 'he' even exists, which I seriously doubt) is a "Man", is the Judeo-Christian belief. It's something dreamed up by the Rabbies and Preachers... in other words.. IT'S MAN MADE. In some of the Eastern Religions, "God" is thought to be BOTH male AND female.
he,he,he... I'll betcha' they didn't tell you THIS in Bible School.

Dont listen to these non believers, I say God is a "he" because It says in the bible in capital letters, "He" or "His". Besides if your a non believer then enjoy your life while you can, Life is a test, and these non believers are just putting there pencil down and no even hitting a lick at it. Personally I'd rather be safe than sorry as well.

God is not a man or woman . he is some thing that we can not imagine . let me tell u an example : there is plane and you made it , you know what is that made of . but when you can not see or touch God you can not say it is man or woman . but God exists . look at the galaxy . look at the sky . can you believe this is all made my accident ???

What is God is not a man nor a woman. But has no sexual intonation. And what if after we die and those who do go to heaven, are neither male nor female once there? Ever think of that possibility?
