I just finished a 270 mile drive from Nottingham to Plymouth, and I found that when the music was up tempo, I drove a little faster, yet when something slow came on, I pulled into the slow lane and plodded along...

Does anyone else find this?
What music do you like to listen to when you drive?

first sunny day this spring, with the sunroof open I was coming up to a stoplight with the intention to turn left. A song I liked (don't remember what is was) came on and I buzzed left past the line of cars waiting to go straight.

To make a long story short, I got a ticket for crossing double yellow lines in the turning lane and turning left before the light changed. Then I drove a block before I noticed the cop was behind me with flashing lights.

so yes I guess it does. I know music cost me 110.00.

My actual speed has nothing to do with music; I just set the cruise control to the speed limit and forget it. However, the speed of the music made it seem like I was going faster or slower.

I listen to almost all types of music when driving, and I do drive along at the pace of it now I think on it! Funny how that works.
