how are we supposed to know if someone else is pregnant. geez if you think your pregnant take a test. does this annoy anyone else as much as it does me

i understand the first time mommy part. but some women post five or 6 questions all the same just different words in a matter of 10-15 minutes

i agree completely with you i think it might be mostly that they are scared or excited or something and just want to involve someone else or something who knows but they could get a test at about any store that would be much more accurate than any of us could ever be if only that was the only stupid question

You are right... But the issue is that most women, whether young or experienced, are so desperate to get some type of answer to console themselves, because for you to take a pregnancy test, you have to wait at least, five days before your period, as some tests will give you accurate results by this time, or after your period is at least one day late... The wait is was kills these women and go on this site to see if they are or not. Especially the ones that are trying to conceive, they are looking for the comfort and support for people to say 'YES' those are signs of pregnancy, and the teens, they simply are so scared that they might be, that they do not know where to look for help..... Each situation different, but the reason is the same, the waiting to confirm whether yes or no, is too much for them to handle, that they look elsewhere to get some sort of consolation...

It doesn't really annoy me. (Of course, I've never been pregnant either). I always assume they are asking for some general symptoms of early pregnancy.
I think many of the women are also looking for wise advice from those who have gone through pregnancy. If you think of it that way, the questions might actually sound quite pleasing. It's like they're saying, "I don't know anything about pregnancy and I think there's a good chance I'm pregnant. You know way more than I do. Can you help me?" I know that if I were pregnant for the first time, it'd be a lot more comforting to hear from another woman (rather than getting advice from a book or website).
P.S. hmmmm....... Not quite sure what to think about them posting the same question over and over again. Maybe they need LOTS of help. :)

Well sometimes they are teenagers and may be scared. Sometimes they are just seeking advice and comfort and you can't really blame them. Other times it's most likley mommies for the very first time and they want to exchange thier experiences and compare.. It's what this place is here for.. to help.. Hope I helped a little.

Mostly because they are scared and don't want to face the reality that it could be true without going to a doctor first. So, they ask random people, who they don't even know, for advice.

I don't think it bothers alot of the people on here or other wise they wouldn't be on here looking. Different people have different symptoms and may have experienced pregnancy already, while they people who are asking have not. People are on here for help and thats what their getting.

some people like to look for the answer with other people first. not everyone has the answers. it can be pretty scary to find out you are pregnant.. so we tend to freak out and ask others
