I think Dean has Ibanez beat by a mile.

I like both companies... my favorite guitars are Ibanez... but the Deans are really well built... Scince Ibanez does cater alot more to the market than Deans, Ibanez carries a larger lower & mid line guitars & basses. It really depends on what you play & how you play... I feel that any guitar, just by the feel while playing, makes me play well or feel good while playing... then that's the guitar for me... Dean, Ibanez, ESP, doesn't matter - i feel the same way about acoustic guitars.

Well, I've only seen dean guitars in magazines and only heard a couple reviews on them but I do have an Ibanez guitar and it's a pretty decent guitar. I have a lower-end model and if their higher end models are any improvment than they are pretty good guitars. My 2 cents. What kind of music do you play?

i have to go with abcinco i have and Ibanez bass and i really think its a good guitar and i havnt really seen many deans
