It depends upon the person and the country. If the leader is able to keep his or her mind open to what is best for the majority of the people rather than "my {religious text of choice} tells me that this is wrong so we're going to make sure it's illegal," there's not a problem.

yes people with strong religious must be prevented from running the country becauase the none belivers get the church in there face and are sick of being ruled by the church

No, but they should run the country in a way that represents the people's ideas, beliefs, and needs as a whole as opposed to their own ideas, beliefs, and needs.

Most people with strong religious views force them on others. I believe you should remember your fiath and respect all others let other people live and believe what they want / need to believe.
