Sorry I am a mexican fan, never heard anyone yelling that... Probably that happened, but it is not a regular yell. And what has that to do with the comments of this guy? i will never understand that a player talks like that.. sorry.
I still think he is arrogant and stupid.

rossonero: Where you actually there? i mean you defend this guy as if you actually heard the menace to kill his mother. I mean players do not yell at each other i love you. On the other hand in México it is a very common insult to say something bad about your mother, without actually doing anything. La Volpe is well know to have an explosive character. If the Us team is so delicate, then i am sorry for them.
The only players that have said something disrespectful of another team are the americans, well just this guy Donovan.
Never hear a stupid comment like that one before. Not even from Brasil or a great team...

What did donovan say against the czechs, italians or ghanaians? You can't blame him for not liking the mexican teams with players threatening to find and kill his mother, coaches claiming their mother, grandmother and great-grandmother could be the US team, fans at azteca yelling viva osama, etc. Donovan's attitude towards the mexican team is the creation of the mexican team and their fans.
UPDATE: Yes, I know Mexico's fans existed before he was born, it's this generations fans of mexican fans that like to yell viva osama that are to blame, not the ones from before he was born.
UPDATE UPDATE: The viva osama chants were widely reported the last two times the US played in Azteca. But as I mentioned, that was only part of the problem, disrespect from LaVolpe and threats to Donovan's mother were another. I can agree he shouldn't lower himself to their level, but I won't pretend there's no reason for his reaction.
