Yes, you can, as most said, disconnect both battery cables from their terminals. (ALWAYS DISCONNECT THE NEGATIVE CABLE FIRST!!) and then clamp or tape the two cable ends together for ten minutes ( to discharge all the capacitors in the computer), then reconnect the battery cables to the terminals. ALWAYS CONNECT THE NEGATIVE CABLE LAST!! However, if the computer or one of it's sensors is defective, this is just a quick band-aid. HTH!

Recheck your rotor button, It's very easy to bend the metal tang on these as they are so difficult to get at. Also make sue the distributor cap is seated properly., Lastly, check the BOTTOM side of the coil for cracks, if there are any, replace the coil.

Yes. Disconnect the negative battery cable for about 20-30 minutes.

for laughs, try disconnecting the negative side of your battery for about an hour. This may or may not help. Probably though you will have to have the chip replaced.

If its an older version it may have a faulty fallopian tube. Start by de-fragging the transistors. Then look at the configuration of the heirarchy.

yes you can like others have suggested by doing a battery disconnect, BUT then you reset everthing on your vehicle like the clock, seat memory etc. the best way is with a factory scan tool and reset KAM ( keep alive memory )

Yes & I'm sure I've already told you this.

You need a Diagnostic Computer, you need to see a Vehicle Tech you can trust because I think the computer you need costs about £3,000.
You really still having problems with your car?
