the uk compete as four seperate nations at FOOTBALL because we have to to keep our seperate football associations, this is also why we dont enter a FOOTBALL team in the olympics

In Olympic Games, there are a lot of sports so you need to get as many medals as you can.
In World Cup, there is one medal and they should also give a chance to Ireland, Scotland, Whale players. If they compete as Britan team, those players will have less chance to participate because I am sure there will be a lot of English players on British team
