Short sighted people are short sighted because they can only see things a short distance away, and anything far away appears blurry. Long sighted people have trouble seeing things close to their face but can see things far away fine.

Long sighted, also called far sighted is when you can see things clearly or better far away or at long distances but objects in the foreground are blurred. Short sighted is when you see things clearer the closer they are to you and the farther away the object is the more blurred it becomes.
