Politicians too often forget who sent them to the capital/capitol, and why they are there. They seem to get caught up in the lifestyle of Washington, in particular, and take up a "go long to get along" attitude. A good man in politics is too quickly disillusioned, and leaves. Part of the problem is the current laws (and electoral laziness) make it much easier for incumbents to retain their seats. Politics was not intended to be a lifetime job, but it has become such in many cases.

Not sure where this question is headed;
But if you look at the congress right now trying to say the Department of Justic with a warrant can't search a congressional (publicly paid for) office I think that is mocking us pretty darn bad.
Any congressman (Republican and Democrat) that supports the measures to keep the DOJ out of their offices should be toast in November.

Not mock; It's screw! Pollution free electric power has been all over our Gov. Millions of high wage jobs to build electric power plants. Millions more jobs to build electric roads to use the clean power for electric cars and trucks. 2 nations and 1US state pay not tax the residents. Kuwait pays $58,000 y, no rent, utilites, phone, hospital, or income tax bills! I know it's oil! Oil is just 1 of thousands of commodities. With all the commodities in your state why aren't you getting paid? With all the resources of the Feds why aren't they paying 50 times better than Alaska. Wtih all 3 systems working right now; why aren't the Feds taking the best from each system and doing better than Kuwaities at paying US!
