American team is overrated. They are not very bad, but Czech is a very good team even though they don't have big name players. But some Czech players became noticed since Euro2000. U.S. team needs a lot of international (with Euro teams) experience.

No not really it's just that Czech Rep. is a more prestigious and talented team. Its the second best team in the world.

Yeah, they do. They are ranked fifth based on points, but rarely do they ever play the awesome European teams, thus resulting in more wins against easier competitors and more points. The European teams play against tougher teams within the continent, thus they result in more losses, but still have better skills than the US.
