The news said that there would be DNA test to make sure that the guy killed was Zarqawi, how did they get his DNA in the first place to test to make sure it's really him?

That's certainly a thought provoking question. I'm glad to see that some people still 'think' when they read the news.
I think what they can do is get DNA from any of his family. I read recently that he was disowned by his family in Saudi Arabia because he was getting so brutal (with the Nick Berg beheading, etc). So there's a fresh source of family DNA. Compare that with the tissue from the corpse, and voila'.
I'm glad he's out of the way. Now on to Bin Laden.

There was a report on the news today that they had checked the DNA and that the are sure it is zarqawi. and he was killed by a bomb.

CIA can do anything. They've got a pretty good Science and Technology department. Where the hell do you think the "government" got the DNA data from in the first place?!

I am just guessing, but I think since several members of his family renounced him they could have submitted DNA samples to the Jordanian authorities.

duh!!? They didn't!! They just are saying that this guys is dead so all of us we become little "obedient" citizens & calm down and think that there's still good reason for them to be sending soldiers over there to die!! The media HAS TO do what the government says! NOTHING good is being accomplished by the government, but they lie to make us think it is.

that is a really good question, I was thinking that myself. The gov. probably made some shady deal with him years ago over something. Oil probably.
