You really need to talk to him about it. They could just be friends, but it could be more.
My exhusband left me for a woman who lived in another state. He had been emailing her for quite some time. She was actually married to his best friend (my ex was a groomsman, I was a bridesmaid and our kids were the flower girl and ring bearer at the best friend's wedding). They used to come vist us and stay at our house as guests. We were all friends for several years. Apparently, the two of them were attracted to each other almost from the beginning. To this day, I do not know how long the affair had been going on.
Don't panic or look for something that isn't there, but don't get blindsided either. Talk to your husband.

How are you getting to read his emails? If he's open about them, and as you say not being sexual or lovey dovey, it doesn't sound like cheating. If you're breaking into his email, then there's a fundamental issue of trust which means it doesn't even matter if he's cheating or not--you're always going to feel suspicious and insecure about your relationship. That's going to poison your relationship whether or not there's another person in the picture--if you act very jealous or clingy you're going to drive him and any other future bfs away.
Also--do you know anything about this girl he's emailing? For all you know she's someone that he truly does think of as a cool friend and not at all someone he would have a relationship with.

I would say be careful when assuming what he is implying. If you're sure it's that he likes her more than a friend, then be concerned, but don't panic. Just keep an eye out for any "honey, babe" that kind of thing, and if you see it, and it gets to be often, tell him you're not comfortable with it and if he cares about your feelings he will cut it out

Of course it is. He started the cheating on vacation and is continuing it through e-mails. If she lived down the block I'm sure he would have been there to see her already. Dont stand for this. You deserve better.

Well, If he's interested in another girl it's not cheating but it does show that you aren't his priority. This is all if he's more than a friend to her, if not then it's ok. Also, not telling you about it shows that he may want to keep you from knowing because he'll think that you'll suspect him. I don't know, but definitly look into it more before you decide he likes her likes her not just likes her.

so if u werent told about her that means he dosent want you to know and u have been snooping. i think the mere fact that he didnt tell u is because he didnt want u to find out is cheating. but u should be open with him and ask him if he likes her as more than just a friend if he dienies it then hes lieing. Thats the only way u will find out.

Maybe not quite cheating, but definitely a heads up, maybe a clue as to what he is capable of or contemplating. Ask him how he would feel if it was the other way around. Give him something to think about.

It's a kind of cheating. If it feels to you like it's more than a friendship going on, tell him it makes you feel uncomfortable. If he does not give it up, then dump him, because he will cheat for real at some point.

I think if he is your boyfriend, he has no bussiness emailing another girl especially if it seems he may like her more than just a friend. What if she comes in to town in the future? You should tell him to stop talking to her if he really loves you, and if he does really love you he should not have a problem with that.

Well maybe he might be special to her. It could be one of his best friends. But if it becomes lovey dovey then ask him about it. (by the way... how do u convince your boyfriend to give you the password?)
