Oh they were so great. I was so proud of them my eyes filled up with tears. So much for the people in FIFA saying we are only there to make up the numbers. Proved them wrong. They kept fighting until the very last minute. I think if they can beat Croatia they might give Brazil a fright and perhaps give the tournament it's biggest upset. I'm in a tipping comp and I too have picked them to reach the Semi Finals. Whatever happens from here they have made us all proud. Anything else is a bonus. Go guys. Australia is behind you all the way.

yeah it was a brilliant result, and we are certainly capable of taking the second spot behind Brazil.
Just wanted to point out, a couple of people here seem confused about the schedule. We play Brazil on the 18th and THEN Croatia on the 22nd. So Brazil is NEXT!

I second that. . . don't really know much about the team, just that Harry Kewell and Mark Viduka are the key players.
Didn't really think that they would get far. . .but hey, this is the beautiful game and it's not over until the FINAL whistle has been blown!!!!!!!!!!
