you must define the purpose of the ring in your head. And IT CAN be any ring you wish. Put the biggest diamond on dat finger even thought u r not married, it is YOUR finger after all
no one elses and you can adorn your body any way you wish
regardless of the norm

I don't know much about resources, but i know that ia m not married yet and that i wear not one but two rings on my ring finger. I just think that they fit best on that specific finger and they look best there. I do often get asked am i married but i quickly explain that i'm not especially if the guy is cute!!

There is no good reason not to in my opinion. Who says you have to wait till you are engaged and married to wear a ring on that finger. Give me a break.

You can wear a ring on that finger, and as long as it isn't a diamond or band, I wouldn't consider it to mean that you are in a commited relationship. But.....guys are a different story. If they see any ring on that finger, most of them automatically think it means you're spoken for.

I wear a ring on my ring finger - so that it will be assumed that I am married and won't bother me.

yeah why not, as long as it doesnt look like a weding ring or an engagement ring. some people wear their class rings on thier ring finger.

You can... but you'll risk men assuming you're off limits (i.e. - engaged or married). A lot of waitresses wear rings to avoid being hit on by customers.

lol yeah its not like your gonna get struck with lightning if u do..u can put whatever want some single owmen do to remind them they dont need a man and can buy jewelery themselves..lol..or u can get a promise ring from someone and wear it..anyr ing can go there until u get engaged and married..any ring! lol
