what should i do? i like this boy, and he is going out with one of my kinda sorta friends. and i dont think im jealous, but i think that they think im jealous! so how should i act so i dont seem jealous even though im not?? im sooo confused! and they arent even a cute couple! and he is my friend, so i dont want to go out with him, but i like him! i just dont want other people to go out with him!! so i dont even know if im jealous!!!! HELP!!!

Well tell them that your happy for them. Act like friends, hang etc. If that doesn't work, say hey or helllo then chat a while and go to other friends.

Yeah, you're jealous...and it's okay if you are - most people have been there - myself included. Anyway, the fact that you have to ask this question and are so confused about being jealous proves that you are. Your comments about them not being a cute couple and not wanting anyone else to date him also suggests this. But you know what? It's okay. Here's my advice to help you sort this out - I think if you like this guy and he is seeing one of your "kinda, sorta friends", you need to respect that and keep your distance. If you don't, that isn't being fair to your "friend" and in the long run, will only make you appear like a B*tch...and you don't want that, right? I know he is your friend as well but chances are, you'll do better to just keep it casual. Say hi if you see him but don't go out of your way to make anything obvious. Who knows, maybe their relationship won't last...and then, because you kept a clear conscience and didn't act like a B*tch, he might want to date you. In the meantime, find someone else you like who isn't dating a "kinda, sorta friend". Good luck.

Well, if you don't want to go out with him, he's going to go out with someone! If you're not jealous then no problem. Just be yourself and they will realize that you're cool with their relationship. If you are jealous and maybe think you want this guy for yourself, you could always put him in a cage and keep him until you're ready for him. When he stops calling this other person they will think he just stopped liking them.
