proberly, But I haven't looked at my e mail today. I don't open files from strangers anyway. I hope that is enough safe net behaviour.

There's always a worm, or a trojan, or some other sort of internet parasite running around the internet.
As long as you practice safe computing, you are good to go.
I don't even own specialized antivirus software anymore, and i use a basic firewall, and I've never in more than 10 years received any sort of virus.

Been gettin 'em here too. It's been reeking havoc on one of my fave groups since this weekend. The group I moderate hasn't been affected yet, but then again, I moderate all messages so I will reject it before it is passed on to my subscribers. (Man, I deserve a pat on the back for being lazy peoples' anti-virus. LOL) I think it should be fine as long as you don't open the email. Although I did hear a couple people SWEAR that they didn't open the attachment, just the email, and it got 'em. Hmmmmmm.....

Make sure your virus protection is updated and check for viruses. First clear your temporary internet files. Tools>Internet Options>General Tab>Delete Files. Check the box to clear offline files too. Don't open that attached file. That's what will give you the virus.

This page from Symantec states the worm is easily removed and gives steps. The site also says it only attacks Windows systems and can be blocked by upgrading to Yahoo Mail Beta(which seems a little funny to me). It also specifically attacks yahoo mail addresses and yahoo groups from your contacts list. Anyway I hope this helps someone. Here's the URL

Just keep deleting your suspicious mail. If you accidentally delete a real email, I'm sure the sender will understand. Like others have said, this one is not that hard to get rid of.

Just IGNORE IT. Don't download anything from an unsolicited e-mail from a stranger. If it looks like its from someone you know, write the person a separate e-mail confirming it's authinticity. And then open it or delete it.
