You cannot used to be an alcoholic. You are one for life although you are not drinking. Weed is just a replacement for alcohol and both will affect sex life. Drugs will become more important than sex if abused.

Alright I'm 26 and I guess you could say I have a low sex drive. With my buisy lifestyle I have little time to think about it or have enough energy to put forth the effort (I work and go to school full time). On top of that I've been married for 6 years and my wife like you has her sex drive kicked into over time. For me I think its because I know I can get it whenever I want it, it's no big deal anymore. Men are more sexually active when they have to persue it. We love the odd time when it falls in our lap but if it happens constantly it can become boring.
contact me and I will try and give you some idea on how to get him to want you more.

Honestly I find it strange that a 26yo young man doesn't have a stronger sex drive than you're describing in your man and certainly considering he's fortunate to have such a beautiful and sexually motivated young woman in his life. Smoking weed could certainly slow his urges at times but in my experience I haven't found that to be a long term problem and usually only if over indulging. Another thing that you mentioned which seems odd is the lack of touching, kissing or foreplay in your relationship. These are things that certainly in my experience most women crave to increase their arousal and meet their overall sexual needs. But, if these things aren't important to you then obviously he's not going to make additional efforts in those areas.

That's what my mother told me too. I married and found that not to be the case. I ended up divorced, because this problem seemed to overflow into other problems. I wanted it, but he seemed nonchalant about it. He only needed it once a month. I guess that is why he wanted it then, and it was a slam bam thank you mam kind of thing. I never felt really loved because of this and eventually couldn't take it any longer. If a relationship is not good in the bedroom, then it probably is not good out of the bedroom either.

It's a well-known fact that marijuana blunts the sex drive. It's a depressant, like alcohol. It "mellows" a person, lowering the sex drive and even dropping sperm count. If you ever wanted to get pregnant, the booze and the drugs might prevent him from ever being able.

He just might be having sex as much as he CAN. Encouraging him to go without the chemicals (drugs and alcohol) might help, although it might make the relationship rocky.

Not all men want sex all the time,I don't think this guy is not your guy though you still love him ( I believed ).Sex is important to a couple,is very unusual for a 26 years old man has lower sex drive, may be you can accept him now but not in ten more years. Some experience, some men need sex every single days/nights before thirty-one or two, only need two or three times a week before forty one or two, after forty five...still working but not as active as before.

I know we girls sometimes meet these guy that just can't keep up. Now what I have found out about alcoholic men is this is one of the side effects of drinking. Tell him he's going to have to develop other skills and cut back on his weed smoking....the idea is to get him to quit. If things are not working out.....move on to another that meets your needs. Life is too short to spend it with someone that does not meet your needs.

Some guys just have a lower sex drive than others. Since you have a really high sex drive this just might not work. Smoking weed might be a buzz kill too.
