This is a serious question, I'm curious... How long does it take the sperm to travel all the way to the egg?

it varies. can happen right away or can take few days.

yeah, there are a lot of factors involved and no one right answer.
Depends on the activeness of the sperm, the mucous level of the vagina, the position of the egg.
I guess on average it could take about 30 minutes to an hour.

depends on where the egg is in the woman's body, at most a couple of days if the egg is relatively far up the Fallopian tube. But very few sperm will make it that far because most will die off or be killed off by the body's defense systems.
