what's the best way to ask out a girl?

i like this girl in my class. i want to know the best way to ask her out.

Well, if you think she likes you back, you can get her a little something, just a card or the like telling her how you feel, and leave it in her locker, bag ect. Make sure to put you name on it. My boyfriend left me a boquet of chocolate roses on Valintines day, and we've been going out ever since. If you're not up to that, ask her to an event like a dance or party. Asking the simple "You want to go out with me?" seems a bit middle-schoolish. And if she says no, don't press it, you'll seem desparate. Best of luck to you.

Just go up to her when her friends aren't around and ask her out to her face. I think it's the best way and I love it when a guy asks me out to my face.
