Find out what his birthday is and give him some cologne or deodorant as a gift.

If he smells really really bad and he wont do anything about it, then you might want to just tell him. I would want someone to tell me that I smell rather than people avoiding me. Its like warning someone about having an eye booger, you should tell them if youre a good friend lol

Dont be mean about it but just tell him nicely, but I think a person should know when he smells bad. Then he can do something about it instead of people talking about him behind his back.

If you think hes cute or if you like him, then go for it!
If you dont like him, then just tell him you would rather be his friend.
