Yes, and it is a common thing. It is usually your uterus stretching to accomodate the growing fetus. Round ligament pains are no fun and unfortunately continue through out pregnancy!

It should be feeling somewhat like cramps, there are times that they are similar to those when you are going to get your period. What you are feeling is very normal, unless, it is to be a very sharp pain and/or accompanied by bleeding, then things should be OK.. When does this go away? That is difficult to say, you could even ask a doctor and they will not be able to give you an accurate response, as the reason for this discomfort is because your baby is growing and your muscles are stretching, therefore, making you feel how you are feeling right now... But most likely, once you are four to five months, you will then concentrate on feeling your baby moving and hopefully the cramping will not be that noticeable... good luck

I've had this with all 7 pregnancies. It is normal. You should feel a little better in a few weeks if it is related to implantation (when the conceived baby actually attaches to your uterus). Sometimes this causes cramps. Or it could be the hormones affecting your muscles and loosening your joints, etc. In that case, it may last the whole pregnancy.
But remember, you're bringing a new person into this world. All the little complaints of pregnancy are worth it in the long run! :-)

I'm 14 weeks, and for me they lasted until I was about 7-8 weeks along. Now and then I still have light pain but not like I did the first 8 weeks, now it's just every once in a while. But every woman is different and every pregnancy is different. Take a deep breath and just relax, some of the tension/pain could be nerves! Or as always, chalk it up to hormones... everything seems to be related to hormones.

I am also 6 weeks along and experiencing the same thing. I am not sure how long it will last but I keep hearing it is normal. It probably will continue off and on through pregnancy because you body is adjusting and things need to move out of the way as baby grows. If I remember correctly, with my first baby it only really bothered me the first trimester. Congrats!

it is normal.... "growing" pains is what i called them.... you'll have them off and on throughout your pregnancy, they arent usually bad pains, more annoying and worrisome than anything else because you cant imagine whats going on in there to cause those pains.... but its just your body adapting to what the baby needs, and preparing itself for the birth of the baby....
the pains will go away .... and then every once in a while you'll get a pain or two... then it will stop...... months will go by, and you wont have any, then all of a sudden they start again... and maybe you feel some for a day or two then they go away again.....
as long as they dont become severe you should be fine....
it seems like about 12 weeks before i noticed i wasnt having them anymore the first time.......

Some pain is normal. Your body is releasing hormones called relaxin, which loosen the joints and muscles to accomadate your growing baby. If you have any sharp or unbearable pain, call your doctor immediately. It could be something more serious.

Yes it can be but everyone is different. It is all to do with progesterone softening your ligaments. In early pregnancy you can feel like you are going to get your period but this should start to reduce very soon x
