Gender is usually only regarded in it's physical manifestation, what you have stored in your undergarb. I'm wondering if there is a whole lot more to gender than this, be it a variety of gray areas(similar to the Kinsey sexuality scale, which gave you a position 1 through 7, 1 being exclusively homo, 7 being exclusively hetero.)or if there are comlete other genders out there that we fail to recognise, or just pass off as something else. Everyhting these days seems to be either verging off to genetics, or to neurological bases. What if there IS a third gender, or even a fourth or fifth....?

This has just come from my idle daydreaming, so feel free to put on the green thinking hat and put your thoeries/ideas out there.

Just let me know I'm not the only one with this thoery, I'm really eager(keen even)to see what people have to say on this.

Toodle pip.

Your on to something here. There is so much more to this world & our existance than we could ever understand. As a woman, I know that gender dicrimination happens. Understanding this, there must be an extreme version of what I've experianced that is aimed at feminine guys, or Masculine gals.
Although we would share a feminine trait, society discriminates us differently. So one would conclude that we were 3 seperate genders. I try not to label myself though.
A couple years ago, I was in some pretty risque conversation with a bartender friend of mine. When some ol' drunk gal looks at me and says "So..."
"What?"
"Are you or aren't you?" she asked.
"Am I what?"
"Are you gay or not?"
I looked at her, dead serious, and said,
"No...actually I'm a chronic hetrosexual with bisexual tendancies."
She wandered off scratching her head.
The soul has no sex, only our physical bodies have the distinction of one or the other. So if you believe in reincarnation, the soul has lived many lifetimes, some as a guy, and some as a girl, therefore everyone is bisexual by nature. It's just that sometimes we get used to being attracted a specific one. And the majority are in denial!!!

Gender is different from sex. And there are many different sexes:
XX - Female
XY - Male
X0 - A Female w/ only 1 x chromosome (Turner Syndrome 1 in 4,000)
XXX - Female, some retardation may be present(1 in 1,000)
XXY- Male, some antisocial behavior and typically testicles that cannot produce sperm (1 in 1,000)
XYY - Male, very tall, implulsive behavior, very reduced sperm count

Gender is socially determined and the roles the different sexes play is determined by the given culture. It is widely accepted that gender is on a sliding scale as opposed to two categories. That is to say there are different degrees of "maleness" and "femaleness." but I wonder if gender can be pulled in more than two directions
